STEP 6: HAVE A SECOND CLASS OFFICER MEETING

Requirements:

Make sure that all officers attend this meeting. You will be reviewing advertising and publicity.

This meeting will be your poster making meeting and your strategy of how to get the word out about your event.

You should make both large posters (you can ask an administrator for the keys to the ASB room so you can use the large butcher paper) and small posters.

Word of mouth is also very productive in advertising. Stress to all the officers the importance of getting the word out.

Have your advisor write an email to the teacher who is in charge of school announcements. Write something catchy so it is played over in the intercom during school.

Have an administrator sign your posters.

Publicity is extremely important. If people do not know about the event, it is very likely that you will not make a lot of money.
