Meet the Squad
Little biographies of all the girls!

Seniors

Miranda Crowell, Captain
This is Miranda's third year on the Interlake Cheer Squad and first year as captain. Her favorite thing about the squad is performing at assemblies and cheer camp! Especially the partner dance with Kelly. She was a dancer for 13 years and she still loves to dance in her spare time. She also loves animals and her part time job at Inglemoor Animal Hospital. Miranda can walk on her hands and she loves calculus even though she is absolutely terrible at it for the most part.

Jamie McAllister, Captain
This is also Jamie's third year on the IHS Cheer Squad and her first year as captain.

Kelly Nelson
This is Kelly's first year on the squad. Her favorite thing about cheer is stunting and the other cheer girls and her favorite memory is the partner dance with Miranda at cheer camp. Her other hobbies include volleyball, skiing, track, band and reading. Some fun facts about Kelly are that she loves calculus, but she hates feet.

Micha McDonald
This is Micha Anastasia McDonald's first year on the squad. She hates her middle name. She was born in Kansas, and she loves it there. She is going to miss High School even thought it annoyed her most of the time. She likes to hang out with her friends, and bump music really loud. ESPECIALLY with NICOLE, RENEE, and MELISSA. Shopping is also a plus :) She loves cheer and has gained friendships with amazing girls and is going to miss it terribly. She loves Macaroni and Cheese and for some reason black is her favorite color.

Nicole Taylor
This is Nicole's first year being on the squad and she is so glad she got to be a part of it for her senior year! Her favorite thing about being on the squad is how she's gotten close with everybody and how the squad shares so much time together and never get sick of each other. It's actually a miracle. She loves hanging out with all of her friends, SLEEPING of course, and definitely cheer =] She's actually kind of a nerd...She loves reading and sometimes she sits at the computer for hours at a time playing games...thats something not a lot of people know!

Stephanie Chong
This is Stephanie's first year on the team. She truly enjoys cheering for the IHS cheer squad. The girls are so friendly and inviting; she's made so many new friendships. During her time on the squad she has stepped out of her shell and overcome her fears. It has really been a changing experience. One of her favorite things to do on the squad is to stunt and fly. Being so high up in the air is exhilarating and exciting; she just wants to stay up there every time. Her other hobbies include reading, eating, watching Asian dramas, sleeping, and CHEERING! 75% of the reason of why she watch dramas is because of the hot Asian guys. ^-^ She also probably has the hugest collection of High School Musical memorabilia at IHS.

Juniors

Alyssa Mellor
This is Alyssa's first year on the squad and she loves it! Her favorite thing is being involved with all the school activities and having fun as a squad at the sleepovers and other squad activities. Her other hobbies are horseback riding and vaulting. She also loves to cook and shop.

Angela Huang
Angela has been on the squad for two years. She really enjoys being on cheer because it is a great way to promote school spirit and represent the school in a positive way! Also, she loves all of the girls on the squad and how each person brings to the squad something unique that ultimately forms such an amazing and funny team. =] Angela loves to dance and danced for about 7 years, she obsessively loves animals and adopted a kitty and named him Kitty. Her thumb is double- jointed and her favorite colors are pink and green.

Maddie Hughes
This is Maddie's first year on the squad. Her favorite thing about cheer is that its a bunch of different people coming together and ending up friends which might not have happened otherwise. Her hobbies include being a skilled kazoo player, an avid cloud admirer, an animal rescuer, a fishkeeper, a champion candyland player, treasure hunting and golf. She is also a certified scuba diver.

Tamara Chinn
Tamara has been on the Interlake Cheer Squad for 2 years. Her most favorite part about being on the cheer squad are the girls! She thinks they are all nice and extremely funny. Other than that, she loves dancing and cheering at football games. When shes not cheering she likes singing in the shower and eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch... because its bomb! She also enjoys hanging out with friends and her very very special friend, Jordan. =)

Sophmores

Anu Gadwal
This is Anu's first year on the squad. Her favorite part are the practices, which are really fun even though we have to wake up early. I also loves to swim and do Indian classical dance. She likes to keep busy as well and she also knows everything there is to know about dolphins.

Meghan McGough
Meghan has been on the cheer for one year. Her favorite things about cheer were eating a ton at cheer camp, meeting so many cool new people, performing in front of the school, going to dinner before football games, shaking the other cheerleaders hands in the hallways, going to soccer games with Tamara and mostly learning new stuntss.

Melissa Dew
Melissa has been on the cheer squad for one year and LOVES IT. It has been such an amazing and fun experience. She's made tons of new friends and created memories that she will NEVER forget. Being on the cheer squad helped her bring out her self confidence and be more outgoing. Her favorite thing about cheer is spending time with the girls, whether it's at games, or cheer dinners, or sleepovers. It's like non-stop fun. You can totally be your crazy, wacky self, and not feel embarrassed about it. The support is also one of the greatest things of cheer. From the squad members, to the coach, and to the audience/parents. It makes performing so much more fun. Outside of cheer, she LOVES hanging out with her friends, going to concerts, and sleeping :) She also love photography and playing soccer and running.

Renee Mostashari
Renee has been on the squad for 1 year. What she likes most about being on the squad is that all the girls are crazy around each other and laugh all the time. Another hobby she has is playing soccer. Two fun facts are she LOVES Chris Brown :) and her favorite ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough.
