Students Programs Choir Choir is available to all 4th and 5th grade students who are interested. They meet once a week during lunch recess and the season runs from October through the end of February. With over 60 students each year, the choir works to excel their vocal skills through challenging choral literature. This year they are performing at two community venues in addition to the annual Zone Concert at Bellevue High School. Advisor: Stephanie Escobar
Student Tech Team Our Student Tech Team is available to all 4th and 5th grade students who apply. They meet twice a month during lunch recess. Learning the basics of video production, updating our school’s Daily News, video taping school events and assisting in the computer lab with the Kindergarteners and 1st graders, are just a few of things that our “Tech Team” kids do weekly. Student Council Our student council provides 3rd—5th students with opportunities to see school government and democracy in action! They exercise leadership in resolving problems, sharing ideas and managing projects. These students are held to the highest academic and citizenship standards and are our school role models. One of the main goals for our student council is to help build school pride and spirit. Advisors: Shelly Ward & Benay Weinstein
Green Club Green Club is a Medina club for all grade levels. The Green Team is made up of 2nd – 5th grade students that focuses on environmental issues and creates awareness among the Medina Community. It is a student centered club that promotes student discussion and action on key environmental issues to launch small changes for a greener community. All grade levels including Kindergarten and First grades work in our community P-Patch. This involves seasonal planting and constant maintenance. We also take care of a worm bin that composts all the debris removed from the P-Patch as well as food scraps from the staff lounge. Advisor: Kristi Stroyan
